What Carelax does
Carelax shows dashboard icon meanings, action guidance, user-manual links, and nearby service-center search for car brands available in India.
Location access
Carelax requests approximate location only when you use the nearby support or service-center feature.
Your location is used to help open nearby dealer and service-center results in your maps app. It is not required for general dashboard icon browsing.
Information we collect
Carelax does not require account creation in this version.
The app may temporarily use:
- approximate location, only when you tap nearby support
- basic network access to open manuals, logos, or support links
How information is used
- to show dashboard guidance inside the app
- to open manual links and support pages
- to help find nearby service centers when requested by the user
Sharing
Carelax does not sell personal information.
If you choose to share a warning using your phone’s share sheet, the information is shared only with the app or person you select.
Retention
This version of Carelax is designed to minimize stored personal data. If future versions add accounts, saved vehicles, bookings, or analytics, this policy should be updated before release.
